We aim for industry-leading turnaround times, with personal auto policies typically delivered within 1-3 days, making them Coastal Research's fastest deliverable.

What If I Don't Know The Insurance Carrier?

Our Policy Existence service allows you to gain the liability limits, even If you don't know the insurance carrier.

If we find that no policy existed for the subject, we charge a $99 no-hit fee, which includes a skip trace in the result and additional context of our findings. 

Do I Need To Submit an Incident Report?

We strongly encourage our clients to submit as much information as possible when requesting a result. An incident report, drivers license, insurance card, or any other document related to the defendant can be very helpful in identifying the subject when solving your case. 

Why Are Commercial Policies More Expensive?

Commercial policy research is a more extensive, time-consuming process that requires a greater level of expertise. In order to provide unparalleled accuracy, we charge a higher rate for commercial policy searches.

How Accurate Are The Results?

How Is Payment Handled?

What Is Your Incorrect-Result Policy?

Although it's highly uncommon for our results to be inaccurate, we provide immediate refunds to clients who report any discrepancies in our findings.

Do You Charge Clients If You Don't Find Results?

There are no charges for Personal policies when their limits cannot be determined.

We charge a $99 fee for cases categorized as Policy Existence, Commercial, and International cases where the policy cannot be located.

Despite the absence of the policy, our services include skip tracing, and any valuable information unearthed is incorporated into the results.

What Happens If You Find a Commercial Policy on a Personal Request?

We bill clients for the type of policy that we discover.

If you request a personal policy and we find that the subject claim/policy reflects a commercial policy, the invoice will reflect the policy found.

Is There a Late Fee

Yes. A $100 late fee will be added to the original invoice amount every week. 

Is There a Processing Fee

Yes. A $1 processing fee will be added to cost of the case.
